San Ging Keswick is a spacious 4 bedroomed modern property set on the hillside above Keswick. With fantastic views over Keswick and Bassenthwaite, this holiday house accommodates up to 8 people very comfortably, ideal for families and groups of friends. The living room is situated at the top of the house, providing a great space to relax together in front of the fire and TV, and with spectacular views. The sunroom provides further space to sit and chat over coffee or a glass of wine, or enjoy some holiday reading. The dining kitchen is very well equipped and seats 8 at the dining table. With a convenient breakfast bar some may enjoying chatting and preparing meals together.
There are two double bedrooms, one twin and one bunk room. A family bathroom includes a bath and walk in shower, and the en suite bathroom has a walk in shower. There is a downstairs toilet too. The utility room houses a washer and dryer, and plenty of space to dry wet things.
Outside is a patio with barbecue grill and furniture, parking on the drive and an EVCP. Bikes may be stored in the garage.
There are many activities to choose from, right on the doorstep. The Lake District National Park is known for walking on the fells, swimming, sailing and paddling (canoeing/paddle boarding) on the lakes, and enjoying the outdoors in general. There are many activity providers in the area if you need some guidance. Cyclists and runners take part in a variety of sporting events over the summer including triathlons, mountain marathons and long distance cycling events.
If it is arts and culture you are interested in, Keswick has it's very own Theatre by the Lake, a cinema showing a choice of films each week, and art galleries, historic houses and museums plus other attractions. An annual Literary Festival (Words by the Water) takes place in March and the Keswick Film Festival in February.
There are also award winning Spa hotels that offer Spa days and packages for relaxation. A range of restaurants and shops in the town complete your stay.
