The Sands holiday apartments in Scarborough offer a fantastic destination for a holiday pretty much on the beach in this iconic seaside town. Wide French doors provide access to the balconies and to the amazing panorama of North Bay and the ultimate sandy beach.

Once accommodation has been arranged, decide what activities you fancy and visit the on-site surf shop, Dexter's, for paddleboard, surf board and wet suit hire. Book yourself in to the Alpamare Spa for a swim in the infinity pool or an indulgent Elemis treatment to guarantee deep relaxation, or head to the gym for a work out. If you are here with the kids, why not hire a beach chalet to ensure a fun day building sandcastles and playing in the sea. You don't even have to walk far for a coffee and shopping as Saltwater cafe and Doorstep Adventures Gift Shop are in the complex.

There are so many options for accommodation at The Sands, whether it is for families, friends or small corporate groups. Spoil yourselves in 1 of the 3 top notch penthouses, a maisonette with superior sea views or an apartment with its own spa bath. The views are fantastic, with balconies for morning cofffee or a sundowner. Bedrooms are cool spaces, individually decorated with clean lines and smart soft furnishings.

While you are staying at The Sands, why not visit Sea Life, Alpamare Water Park or Scarborough Castle, all very close by. Scarborough itself has a wide range of restaurants, bars and pubs within walking distance. The quaint village of Robin Hood’s Bay is just 30 minutes away, as is beautiful Whitby. Worth a trip to either of these gems for some freshly caught fish with chips for supper.

Located overlooking North Bay Beach Scarborough on The Cleveland Way. Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby can be reached in 30 minutes. York is an hour and Leeds 1 hour 40. Near the North York Moors.

There is a convenience store on the ground floor of the complex. Scarborough has a Tesco and Sainsbury's.
Saltwater Cafe and Roux's Waffle and Sandwich Shop for snacks and informal eating. Taylor's Bar and Kitchen on the ground floor is recommended. Lots of other choices in the town.
Leeds Bradford Airport is 1 hour 50 minutes.
Scarborough Railway Station.
Regular bus service from Leeds to Scarbrough. Local bus service along coast to Whitby.
