Santo Michele is a truly inspirational setting for a corporate event. This renovation project has transformed a deserted southern Italian mountain village into a venue with some great communal facilities and out of the ordinary accommodation guaranteed to please the team, clients or business contacts. There are 3 main areas for business teams to use: Palazzo dell’Opificio is home to a function room with state of the art facilities and services; the restaurant is perfect for a board meeting, presentation or entertaining; and Le Carceri, or The Jail, is ideal for executive meetings.
The Locanda sotto gli Archi is the village restaurant where the chef cooks amazing local and traditional dishes. He also offers 2 hour cookery lessons, an option for a team building activity to promote bonding skills with lots of fun thrown in. The Cantinone, or the cellar, is a fabulous communal space for relaxing by the fire or engaging in some wine tasting, always a popular experience for clients. And the Tisaneria is a tearoom offering herbal and healthy teas during coffee breaks.
The bedrooms are all individually designed with a combination of doubles, twins and singles for a mixed gathering. Some suites include small dining areas that work well for creative thinking groups and future planning. If water sports at the beach is required, Pescara is a little over an hour.
