Each of the cottages has sofa beds for additional guests, with maximum capacity of 90.

Schloss Ernegg is the beautiful 12th Century castle belonging to the Auersperg family. It is ideally located in the heart of Austria and available for hire exclusively for special celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries or family gatherings. An in-house events team can work closely with you and help organise everything from transfers from the airport to all activities on arrival. Located in the beautiful Mostviertel region, the landscape is spectacular and there is a wealth of culture, vineyards, castles, abbeys and medieval villages to be explored.

The castle sleeps up to 50, with an extra 30 beds available for larger parties. Furthermore, there are 20 further sleeps in the 3cottages near the castle, only a few minutes away on foot. All the rooms are individually decorated with family antiques, portraits and memorabilia dating from bygone centuries. The elegant public rooms are much as they were when this was a private house, large and luxuriously comfortable. Our in-house events team will ensure that you have everything required to make your event run smoothly.

Schloss Ernegg has two golf courses, a 9 hole behind the castle boasting incredible views and an 18 hole Championship course below. We are happy to organise tournaments for you and your guests as part of the entertainment, with prizes and memorabilia to mark the occasion.

Our excellent catering department will work closely with you to devise suitable menus; from the traditional Austrian cuisine to a medieval banquet. Murder mystery evenings can be organised as well as dancing in the arcades of the bar till the early hours.

For the more active there are extreme sports in the mountains such as caving, climbing and rafting, as well as beautiful hiking routes. We can organise mountain bike hire locally.

We are ideal for large house parties. We would happily put together a package for you and look forward to welcoming you at Schloss Ernegg.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** There is Wi-Fi available in certain parts of the castle. There is also good mobile phone coverage.
- **Accessibility:** There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. Access throughout the rest of the castle can be organized with prior notice.
- **Dog Friendly:** Pets welcomed. Ideal for dogs because of all the beautiful walks. Dogs on leads are permitted on the golf courses.
- **Kitchen:** Fully modernised commercial stainless steel kitchen.
- **Dining Room:** Grand dining room leading out onto the sun terrace and garden as well as the bar. Seats up to 80 guests.
- **Sitting Room:** There are two stunning grand drawing rooms, which can double as reception rooms or dining rooms for the larger parties.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** All rooms have radios and TV. The bar is equipped with a music system and we can arrange the hire of alternative music such as bands and
discos.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Traditional ceramic wood burning stoves and central heating. There is an open fireplace in the bar and in the drawing room.
- **Bedrooms:** Accommodation comprises suites, twins and double rooms. All rooms are large and individually decorated with family antiques and portraits.
- **Linen:** All bed linen and towels provided.
- **Bathrooms:** The majority of the rooms and suites have en-suite bathrooms.
- **Children's Facilities:** The castle is a paradise for children. There is great freedom, with swimming and riding locally. We can arrange entertainers as well as babysitting.
- **Outdoor:** Set in its own grounds surrounded by 2 golf courses. (50% green fee reduction for castle guests). Also fishing, tennis, hiking, riding and swimming.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is a fantastic open air swimming pool in the village with slides and wave machine! Alternatively the river below the castle is very refreshing!
