Scotgate Cottage has been restored into wonderful accommodation with all boxes ticked. Set in 5 acres of parkland and pretty gardens, guests will love the carp fishing lake, indoor pool, luxury hot tub, sauna, tennis court and amazing games room. With oodles of space inside and outside, your group is sure to have a great holiday in this Norfolk country house.

The Barn is a fantastic addition for extra guests, allowing a little privacy for grandparents or a young family. And Scotgate Cottage and Barn are both dog friendly.

Scotgate Cottage has 3 reception rooms including a lounge with relaxed sofas, wood stove and Smart TV, a garden room with doors opening onto the courtyard and a games room with bar. Something for everyone in a mixed group. The kitchen diner is well equipped for the needs of a big gathering, with the table large enough for everyone to eat together, plus there's a breakfast bar for informal meals. The Barn has spacious open plan living. The courtyard has a great barbecue area with pizza oven and outside seating for warm summer evenings.

The indoor pool at Scotgate Cottage gives a focus for fun whatever the weather. The luxury hot tub and sauna complete a mini spa experience and allow guests to leave feeling indulged and pampered. Or guests can have a go at carp fishing in the well stocked lake and a game of tennis on the full sized court.

Bedrooms in Scotgate Cottage are luxurious and extra sofa beds in Principal and Sage rooms mean they make good family rooms. Each room is individually designed with stylish decor and soft furnishings. The bunk room for 5 makes a great den space for the children in the group. The Barn has a double and a twin. Contemporary shower rooms are plentiful across both houses.

If you fancy a walk from Scotgate Cottage, The Eagle in Great Hockham is a short stroll away for good food and a pint of ale. Norfolk is known for picturesque villages and stately homes, and there are plenty of great pubs or farm shops where you can pick up fresh produce.
