The unique position of the Beach House, at the furthest point on West Beach, Selsey in West Sussex, gives it uninterrupted seaviews with the most amazing sunsets. According to the Met Office, West Sussex is the sunniest spot in the UK, with 1,902 hours of sunshine every year. You will have many opportunities to enjoy them as you soak in the hot tub, swim in the pool located just above the sun terrace looking out to sea, or step outside the six foot walled garden to the beach via the slip way or the steps.

Selsey Beach House offers a holiday house near Chichester, easily accessible being only 90-120 mins from London, in a great seaside location and a great meeting place for people coming together from many parts of the country.

In the large patio styled garden are the hot tub which can be heated up to 40°C year-round, whilst the pool is open from April to October and reaches temperatures up to 28°C in the summer months. As heat is via an air source pump it takes longer to heat and cools down faster in cooler months and generally the temperature will be about 10°C higher than the surrounding temperature in the spring, when the ground is cold, and 12°C in autumn. As a guide outdoor pools are often heated to around 21-23°C.

The garden also has a chiminea for cooking and there are plenty of sunbeds, chairs and table benches.

There is also plenty to do in the house; a games room has a pool table, darts and football table. We also have Netflix and all Sky channels and of course WiFi.

Selsey itself offers many activities for all the family including fishing trips, kayaking and mountain biking, and only 9 miles away in Chichester there is the famous cathedral, shopping, theatres, and Roman remains. Not far away is Goodwood House with racing, the Weald and Downland living museum and Arundel Castle.

Those that have switched to Electric or Hybrid vehicles will benefit from the Tesla charger on the driveway in front of the house which can accommodate several cars.

Well trained and groomed pets are accepted by prior arrangement in uncarpeted areas but, in consideration of future guests, we request that dogs are kept on a leash in the gardens.
