Together, they offer a comfortable base for family gatherings, wedding parties, celebrations and groups exploring Northumberland, just a 10 minute drive from the Roman towns of Corbridge and Hexham and 30 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne.

Shellbraes Farmhouse is a country house with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests. The spacious farmhouse kitchen is well equipped for group meals, while the large dining area has a circular table where everyone can sit together. From here, the house leads into a cosy sitting room with comfortable sofas, a wood burner and Smart TV. There is also a playroom with games and books, a useful space for younger guests, plus a utility and boot room with laundry facilities and a downstairs loo.

Upstairs, the bedrooms can be arranged as kings or twins, with 2 en suites and a luxury family bathroom.

Shellbraes Studio sits alongside the farmhouse and provides a little extra privacy for 2 guests, ideal for grandparents or a couple. It has its own entrance and parking, with all accommodation on the ground floor. Inside, there is a sitting and dining area with sofa, Smart TV and wood burner, a compact kitchen, bathroom and bedroom area with either a super king or twin beds.

Both properties have their own private outdoor space. The farmhouse has an enclosed lawn, patio and barbecue area, with guests welcome to help themselves to seasonal herbs and vegetables from the raised beds. The Studio has a private, secluded courtyard with a table and chairs for 2. There is also plenty of space within the wider 10 acres to enjoy the countryside setting at your own pace.

The location is well suited for exploring Northumberland, with Hadrian’s Wall and the Northumberland National Park nearby. The surrounding countryside offers opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and shooting. Local wedding venues are within easy reach.

- **Outdoor:** Lovely enclosed garden. Beautiful fell to walk on at the rear and a "help yourself" veg patch too! Courtyard seating with table and chairs.
- **Bedrooms:** 5 bedrooms in Farmhouse: 2 en suite king bedrooms, 2 king or twin bedrooms, 1 twin room. The Studio has a superking or twin beds.
- **Bathrooms:** 2 en suite bathrooms and family bathroom in the Farmhouse and a bathroom in the Studio. Downstairs loo in Farmhouse.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Smart TV with on-demand viewing and catch up TV.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Oil fired central heating, underfloor heating to upstairs and kitchen with wood burning stove in sitting room and Studio.
