Shielbrae house provides comfortable, relaxing accommodation.

There are three living rooms (one with a double bed settee), all with either a real fire or wood burning stove. The large dining room easily seats 18 people, larger parties use the party room/lecture theatre.

The kitchen is well equipped with an Aga, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge. The back kitchen has a fridge freezer, washing machine and an adjacent drying room.

The three family rooms on the 1st floor share a large bathroom and the dormitory style attic has 9 beds and a separate shower room (with toilet).

Downstairs there are two further toilets, a bath and a shower room.

There is a large enclosed garden and a separate area for parking 6-8 cars. We also have an adjacent field available for horses, with plenty of parking for horse boxes, if people are looking for holidays with their horse.

Shielbrae House is surrounded by farm land in an area ideal for waking, cycling and riding.

Within half a mile of the house there is North Third trout fishery and a company running off-road driving and quad treks. The House is about 3 miles from the City of Stirling, with Stirling Castle, The National Wallace Monument and the Old Town jail among the many visitor attractions.

Other local attractions include Blair Drummond safari Park, Dunblane Cathedral and the Falkirk Wheel.

There are many golf courses, distilleries and shopping opportunities.

Stirling is an ideal location for exploring a wide area of Scotland, it is within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, St. Andrews and Perthshire.

Smoking is permitted, but no smoking preferred in bedrooms.
We can accept pets only by prior arrangement.
