This holiday house near Lake Widnermere has been extensively and sympathetically refurbished over recent years and possesses all the modern facilities you would expect to find, whilst still retaining its original character and charm, and providing our guests with spacious high quality accommodation in a beautiful secluded setting. An ideal house for most groups, suitable for anything from quiet retreats to family gatherings, activity holidays, and golf, walking or fishing groups, team building exercises and also large celebrations, such as birthdays, stag/hen weekends and wedding parties. Skelghyll Woods is just a 15 minute walk from Lake Windermere and the charming village of Ambleside, with good access to both local and national transport links, making it an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. This beautiful 6 bedroom property accommodates 16 guests. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved dogs are allowed at the property. - **Accessibility:** Downstairs WC and shower, downstairs family bedroom. - **WiFi:** Telephone and WiFi internet. - **Kitchen:** Fully equipped kitchen with a Rangemaster oven, microwave, white china glasses and champagne glasses, American style fridge freezer, washer dryer. - **Dining Room:** Seating for 18 guests. - **Sitting Room:** Two sitting rooms, one with open fire and oak panelling the other with large plasma TV and piano. - **TV and Music Facilities:** 41" plasma TV and DVD player. - **Games Room:** Very large function room with en suite and shower available to guests. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Open fire and central heating. - **Bedrooms:** 6 including a 4 poster and mix of doubles and twins. - **Linen:** Towels and linen are provided including one towelling robe per guest. - **Bathrooms:** 5 bathrooms in total, with baths and showers. - **Children's Facilities:** Large lawn area, rocking horse, piano. - **Outdoor:** Barbecue and outside seating area. Hire of a hot tub is possible - please enquire. - **Swimming Pool:** We do not have a pool.
