Be it a birthday or anniversary celebration, college reunion, an annual get together or simply somewhere to relax and spend special time with family and friends, Sladen Lodge is spacious, contemporary and up to date with 7 en-suite bedrooms all with rainforest showers and Hypnos twin or super-King zip and link beds.

It is incredibly light and versatile having two sitting rooms, a games room and huge open plan dining room where groups can sit together around one large table.

Views of the Hope Valley are stunning, either from inside the Lodge or from the large private garden. Sladen Lodge is in a secluded position with plenty of parking.

A perfect venue for cyclists and walkers with a secure bike shed for storage. Many walks from the door and ideal area for road cyclists and mountain bikers.

A regular bus service stops at the bottom of the drive and the train station is 10 minutes walk away.

The village boasts a 30m heated outdoor pool (Apr-Oct), tennis courts, cricket, a bowling green and a great park. Walking is from the door in any direction, mountain biking or cycling in abundance in the big outdoors or simply relax in the garden taking in the amazing scenery.

Nearby attractions are:- Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the market town of Bakewell, the Blue John caverns at Castleton and the plague village of Eyam.

Or you could try climbing at Stanage Edge, hang gliding, golfing or caving.

As Sladen Lodge is all on one floor it is particularly suitable to certain disabilities. Bedroom 1 has a hand grip in the shower and a shower stool.

7 en-suite bedrooms with wall mounted LCD TVs, brand new Hypnos beds which can be either twin bedded or super king according to your requirements.

Linen

Luxury cotton white bed linen with feather down duvets, together with huge fluffy sustainably sourced cotton bath sheets and hand towels.

Bathrooms

All en-suite with large walk-in rainforest showers and floor to ceiling chrome towel rails. Bedroom 2 also has a bath.

Children's Facilities

A travel cot and a highchair are available on request. Also a selection of puzzles and games, and outside games.

Outdoor

Large private garden with south facing patio with garden furniture and parasols. Facilities include a large bike shed, BBQs and outdoor table tennis.

Swimming Pool

There is a heated outdoor pool in the centre of Hathersage only 5 minutes walk from Sladen Lodge. Open all year - check website for opening hours.

Hathersage (5 minutes walk).
Manchester (1 hour drive).
Hathersage (10 minutes walk) which is on the Sheffield to Manchester line.
