## About The Property

Sladen Lodge is the perfect place for large group gatherings and all types of celebrations with family or friends; it is simply a great place to relax and and enjoy your time in a lovely house in the middle of the Peak District National Park. The property is very spacious, contemporary and well looked after with 7 en-suite bedrooms, all with modern showers and Hypnos twin or super-king zip and link beds.

The Lodge has one large sitting room as well as a second smaller lounge space including a table football table, board games and table tennis outside. There is a very large open plan dining room where up to 16 people can sit together around one large table. Views of the Hope Valley are stunning, either from inside the Lodge or from the large private garden and patio where you can BBQ and gather around a fire pit at night. Sladen Lodge is in a secluded position with plenty of on site parking for up to 8 cars.

This is a perfect venue for cyclists and walkers with a secure bike shed for storage (please ask about use of the shed). There is an abundance of walks right from the door and it's an ideal location for both road cyclists and mountain bikers.

Everthing takes less than 5 minutes to walk to in the village including the pubs, shops, restaurants, cafes, outdoor heated swimming pool and deli. A regular bus service stops at the bottom of the drive and the train station is a 10 minute walk away for easy access to Sheffield and Manchester.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Up to 2 dogs allowed but must not be allowed in any bedrooms or on any furniture. Cost is £35 per dog.
- **Accessibility:** Sladen Lodge is a one level property, it is particularly suitable to certain disabilities - please contact us for more specific information.
- **WiFi:** Superfast broadband is provided at Sladen Lodge. There is good mobile reception.
- **Kitchen:** Very well equipped kitchen, 2 dishwashers, 2 electric ovens with a large gas hob and one large fridge. Utility room, with fridge/freezer, microwave.
- **Dining Room:** Large open plan dining room, can seat up to 16 people at a time.
- **Sitting Room:** Spacious sitting room with comfy seating for everyone and beautiful views of the Hope Valley.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 50" LCD Smart TV and Bose speakers. LCD TVs in all bedrooms.
- **Games Room:** Atrium with table football table, variety of board games and outdoor table tennis table.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Heating throughout the property and an open wood fire pit to be used on the patio outside.
- **Bedrooms:** 7 en-suite bedrooms with wall mounted LCD TVs, Hypnos beds which can be either twin singles or one super king double to suit your preference.
- **Linen:** Luxury cotton white bed linen with feather down duvets together with huge fluffy sustainably sourced cotton bath sheets and hand towels.
- **Bathrooms:** All en-suite with large modern showers and floor to ceiling chrome towel rails. Bedroom 2 comes with a shower bath.
- **Children's Facilities:** A travel cot on request. Also a selection of puzzles and games.
- **Outdoor:** Large private garden with south facing patio with garden furniture and parasols. Facilities include a large bike shed, BBQs, and outdoor table tennis.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is a heated outdoor pool in the centre of Hathersage only 5 minutes walk from Sladen Lodge. Open all year - check website for opening hours.
- **Parking:** Space for up to 8 cars.
- **Smoking:** Sorry - no smoking.
