## About The Property

In a stunning mountainous location, but also accessible with good transport links and facilities, the flexible accommodation at this holiday bunkhouse in the Brecon Beacons makes it suitable for a wide range of groups, from corporate team building to school field trips to activity based breaks in the Beacons for individuals and families.

Sleeping Giant Bunkhouse has lots of character, with exposed beams and arrow slits. There's a large dining room able to seat the whole group, and comfy sofas for after dinner socialising.

There is also a self-contained apartment adjoining the centre that sleeps up to 3 people and is suitable for small groups or for instructors/leaders.

Only 30 minutes from the M4 but surrounded y the spectacular landscape which is the Brecon Beacons National Park, this area is one of world class caving. Other highlights include the National Showcaves of Wales, Dan-yr-Ogof, access to the River Tawe for kayakers, and the highest waterfall in the Brecon Beacons (you can also walk behind it). Riding stables and pony trekking are very close by. Craig-y-Nos Country Park and Castle is within walking distance.

There's so much to do in this special part of the country - Sleeping Giant Bunkhouse provides the perfect base for accessing these opportunities for a fantastic weekend away or longer holiday.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets welcome (need to be good with stock).
- **WiFi:** WiFi available and mobile reception.
- **Kitchen:** Large kitchen, double sink, commercial gas cooker (6-burner hob), large fridge freezer and microwave, and all the pots and pans you need.
- **Dining Room:** Seats 50 with serving hatch from kitchen and has tea and coffee making facilities and sink. Large sofas and wood burning stove.
- **Sitting Room:** Comfy seating areas in the dining room, with a cosy wood burning stove too.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** There is no TV.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Oil central heating throughout accommodation and bedrooms, wood burning stove in main dining room.
- **Bedrooms:** 9 bedrooms, sleeping between 2 and 6 people per room in a mixture of bunk and single beds. Self-contained apartment that sleeps up to 4 people.
- **Linen:** Most guests bring a sleeping bag or bedding. Linen can be ordered in advance at £12.50 per person per stay: single duvet + cover, pillow + case, sheet
- **Bathrooms:** Two bathroom/shower areas, 6 toilets, 6 washbasins and 6 showers in total.
- **Children's Facilities:** Children are welcome. Large, safe outside grass area.
- **Outdoor:** 8 acres of private ground, BBQ and patio area, large outdoor fire pit. Good walks from the centre. Access to river Tawe for kayakers. Camping on site.
- **Parking:** Parking for up to 25 vehicles.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside. Smoking shelter off dining room.
