This beautiful Yorkshire coastal house sleeps 14, for weekly stays and weekends/mid week stays. Start days are usually Friday or Monday ideal for groups of friends and family gatherings. Sorry - no hen or stag groups. Perfectly suited for multi generation groups, there are great opportunities for socialising and having lots of fun while offering space for peace and privacy. Located in open countryside with characters such as Elfie, the Shetland pony, and the Highland cows in the adjacent fields. There is a lovely beach with rock pools a short drive away at Stoupe Beck sands and from here you can walk to Robin Hood's Bay. Ravenscar village with a tearoom, National Trust Centre and Grand Villa Heights Hotel wedding venue/hotel is a 15 minute walk away and is a lovely spot for a drink or something to eat. Whitby is just 20 minutes away by car, worth a visit to sample some of the freshly caught seafood and enjoy the pretty fishing harbour. Scarborough is a nearby traditional seaside town for those who want a little more life with its range of shops, bars and eateries as well as the famous North Bay Sands with it's Blue Flag status. Smugglers Rock House has been recently renovated and the emphasis on open plan living with a brand new kitchen/diner provides a great space for 14 to share a meal. French doors lead out onto a gated patio area with plenty of seating and tables where guests might share a barbecue or simply have a cuppa. The landscape is absolutely stunning with a choice of countryside or coastal views from both outside and inside, through extensive picture windows. The living room has lots of comfy sofas for guests to watch a film or chat over a drink. The accommodation provides 4 doubles (two are four posters), one twin, one treble and one single. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with solid pine furniture and stylish soft furnishings.
