Situated approximately 20 minutes from the market town of Helmsley, Snilesworth Lodge is a wonderful family holiday house in the heart of the North York Moors. Multi generational families, groups of friends, hikers, cyclists and corporate groups will love the location, surrounded by stunning countryside with easy access to fantastic walking routes and historic attractions.

Snilesworth Lodge is the perfect country lodge venue for reconnecting with friends and family and making new happy memories. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking together and the formal dining room with wood burner a great spot for long sociable dinners and celebrating a special birthday or other event. The sitting room has lots of comfortable sofas, high ceilings, feature windows, another open fire and a large TV; get everyone together to watch a film or for a board games tournament.

The lodge is surrounded by gorgeous grounds and gardens made for exploring, with plenty of space for the children to run around. Set out some blankets on the grass and enjoy a picnic lunch together. Yorkshire has huge skies, so take some time to look up and stargaze on clearer nights.

10 en suite bedrooms are spread across 2 floors, configured as kings, superkings, a twin, double and 1 triple family room, so plenty choice and flexibility for a mixed age gathering. All are smart spaces with attractive furniture, soft furnishings and a TV. All have en suite facilities too.

The market town of Helmsley is a 20 minute drive away, on the River Rye with a Medieval castle fortress and home to a spectacular Victorian walled garden. The historic market town of Northallerton is a busy place with any number of independent shops and cafes to enjoy. The iconic city of York can be reached in an hour, for a day out exploring the walled city, Gothic cathedral and the Monk Bar Gate Houses. Step back in time through cobbled streets and stop off for afternoon tea in Betty's.

A non refundable booking fee of 30% will be required on booking of the property. The final balance in full will be required 10 weeks before your stay.

Check in time will be from 4pm, and check out time on day of departure 10am.

Up to 2 well behaved dogs allowed. Dogs are not allowed upstairs and must be caged when left alone.
