## About The Property

The Rhyd Ddu Outdoor Centre and Bunkhouse is a refurbished historic former school and school house located in the pretty village of Rhyd Ddu in Snowdonia, offering affordable and comfortable accommodation for youth groups and leaders.

Situated in wonderful countryside with numerous activities on its doorstep, Rhyd Ddu Outdoor Centre and Bunkhouse has everything you could wish for in self-catering youth group accommodation and is an ideal base for youth activities in this area of natural outstanding beauty.

The bunkhouse is centrally located in Snowdonia within easy reach of Llanberis, Bangor, Caernarfon, Beddgelert and Porthmadog, and multiple activities are available within a very short distance. Complete packages of guided outdoor activities including equipment and transport are available via fully qualified, accredited and insured local experts.

Rhyd Ddu Outdoor Centre sleeps up to 30 people in 6 bedrooms split over two properties on the same site. This means you can split groups as is necessary: male/female, age, in order to suit your requirements. Your youth group will have sole use of the entire bunkhouse and grounds during your stay.

Room 2 in the Old School (a 2 person room) and the ground floor room in the Old School House are generally used as leader rooms. The beds are all sturdy metal framed bunk beds with comfortable mattresses and pillows.

There is a fully equipped kitchen for catering for your group. The large communal room serves as a dining room. With ceiling-mounted projector, screen and sound system with multimedia console, this room can be used both as a classroom during the day and home cinema in the evenings.

The Old School has disabled access, a disabled toilet and no stairs.

We have a dedicated drying room including heater and dehumidifier on site.

- **Games Room:** There is no dedicated games room but there is a large common room so feel free to bring your own board games etc.

- **Bedrooms:** 6 bedrooms in all.

- **Children's Facilities:** We have a large secure garden to play in as well as a home cinema. Bring a football and outside games for good weather - children love it here.
- **Outdoor:** EV charger. Large private car park & benches for outdoor dining. Wonderful views of Snowdon and toward the Nantlle Ridge. Secure storage. Drying room.

- Secure online booking is available on our website. Enquiries welcome via phone and eMail. 50% deposit secures the booking, with the full balance payable in advance of the arrival date. 4 nights for the price of 3 available on certain midweek (Mon-Thur) dates – please contact us to enquire or check out the booking pages on our website.

The Bunkhouse is situated in the village of Rhyd Ddu, on the A4085 between Beddgelert and Caernarfon, at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and the Nantlle Ridge within the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
