Stunning, Grade II-listed Solton Manor at East Langdon is situated just a couple of miles from the sea at St Margaret's and a quick 20 minutes drive from Canterbury via the A2. This exceptionally beautiful house offers easy family living with elegant reception rooms for celebrations and entertaining. The house is tucked away within 8 acres of idyllic land including beautiful gardens.

London is readily accessible by high speed trains running from Martin Mill station. Nearby St Margaret's provides great local amenities with the Kentish towns of Deal, Dover and Canterbury also close at hand.

On site is the Great Barn, a wonderful venue for a wedding party or celebration, able to seat up to 150 guests.

The manor house offers several reception rooms including a formal drawing room, study or sitting room and a kitchen/breakfast room as well as a games room, along with 10 bedrooms (plus a further one accessed via one of these bedrooms) in total.

Of particular note in the interesting history of the house is the former owner, Sir John Finet, who was born at the manor and later inherited it. His grandfather had come to England with Cardinal Campeggio, married a maid-of-honour to Catherine of Aragon and settled there. The young Sir John was brought up at Court and later became Master of Ceremonies to both James I and Charles I. His portrait by Tintoretto hangs in the National Portrait Gallery.
