This country house near Cleobury Mortimer and the Worcestershire-Shropshire border is surrounded by open beautiful countryside making it an ideal venue for taking the team away from the workplace for quality planning time and team building, and is also a great location for entertaining clients. A wide range of activities is available both on and off site. You can soak up the atmosphere with outdoor tables and chairs, or use the under-dover area with attached bar-room. The house sleeps up to 26, depending on your demographics and flexibility on sleeping preferences.
The full kitchen is equipped with an electric range, hob rings, microwave, fridge, 2 dishwashers, utensils of every sort and copious amounts of cutlery, perfect for the group to prepare and share a meal. Bringing lots of food with you? There are 2 full sized fridges and a deep freeze too. It’s also possible to arrange for outside caterers to come in and take over the cooking leaving the team time to focus on the tasks in hand.
Whether you are cooking for yourselves or having meals prepared and served, everyone can sit down to eat together at the dining tables, a space that doubles up for board meetings and presentations. There are 2 large lounges with comfy sofas and wood burners for down time as well as a conservatory and study as breakaway rooms.
There’s WiFi across the site so you can stay connected with friends, socials and favourite streaming shows. Coming soon (2025) is a cinema room which will also double up as a conference room.
9 bedrooms over 2 floors offer a flexible mix of beds including 7 king sized and 12 singles. Each bedroom (except one) has an en suite facility. There is also a ground floor bedroom with an en suite shower for any guest who is less mobile.
No need to worry about parking – there’s ample space for 10 vehicles just outside the house, and overflow for many more if needed.
Outside space is glorious for walks or try something different at the fishing lake. The owners can organise clay shooting lessons, horse riding, kayaking, wild swimming, or even playing with remote control boats on the lake. Bring your wetsuits or fishing tackle – the lakes are there for you to enjoy.
Local companies have in the past brought a casino or human foosball to the house for guests to experience.
The Plough, Far Forest is about 2 miles away and within walking distance for an evening out, and Cleobury Mortimer (3.5 miles) has 7 pubs from which to choose. Ludlow has a beautiful castle and a reputation as a food lovers paradise, or head to Wyre Forest for a bracing walk, just 4.5 miles from the house.
