Small boats and jet skis can be launched from the stone pier and the expansive sandy beach is excellent for kids and dogs to run around freely. For those who fancy a stroll, Kilchattan Cafe and the Kingarth Hotel are within walking distance for coffee and cake or a wee dram. There are 3 golf courses on the Isle Of Bute and many inland lochs for coarse and game fishing. Rothesay is a short drive away, a traditional Victorian seaside resort worth a visit. Mount Stuart House is close by, a stately home with fabulous gardens and art exhibitions.
