Just a 35 minute ferry ride from the West Scotland mainland, St Blane's is easily accessible yet a complete break from the stresses of modern life. The beautiful house, converted from a hotel, offers luxury accommodation for 3 generation families, friends, wedding parties and corporate groups of up to 32 guests. It is a holiday home that really does have something for everyone; a space to kick back and enjoy the sea views or make the most of the outdoor activities available on the island. In short, it's a magnet for walkers, cyclists, golfers, fishermen, water sports enthusiasts and those who simply want to explore beautiful sandy beaches and fascinating historic attractions. St Blane's is perfect for weddings too, an idyllic setting with endless possibilities.

The house is all about comfort and the most glorious uninterrupted coastal views at every turn. Prepare a meal for everyone in the fully equipped kitchen or enquire about hiring in private caterers for a celebration dinner. Afterwards, relax on the dining room sofas next to the wood stove or in the lounge where there is another stove, the original bar area and a karaoke machine to get the party going. The youngsters are sure to head to the games room for table tennis, pool and darts, a fun spot away from the adults.

There are 12 individually themed bedrooms at St Blane's with stylish colourful decor and classic soft furnishings, 2 with romantic carved wood 4 posters. There is a helpful combination of kings, twins, bunks and singles including 3 triple rooms and 1 quad with cot, ideal for a family. Bathroom facilities are plentiful across the house, a combination of showers and wonderful roll top baths.

Direct access to Kilchattan Bay beach means great opportunities to try out watersports, including paddleboarding and kayaking, in the safe waters directly in front of the house. Small boats and jet skis can be launched from the stone pier and the expansive sandy beach is excellent for kids and dogs to run around freely. For those who fancy a stroll, Kilchattan Cafe and the Kingarth Hotel are within walking distance for coffee and cake or a wee dram. There are 3 golf courses on the Isle Of Bute and many inland lochs for coarse and game fishing. Rothesay is a short drive away, a traditional Victorian seaside resort worth a visit. Mount Stuart House is close by, a stately home with fabulous gardens and art exhibitions.
