St George's House, Georgeham, Croyde, Devon

20 - 50 10 Bed 50 Dining

Great value houses sleeping 50 for families, activity weekends and big group get togethers near Woolacombe and beaches

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. St George's House, Georgeham, Croyde, Devon, sleeps 20 - 50 in 10 bedrooms.

St George's House is an Outdoor Centre that has been running for over 40 years, set up to provide great activities in a friendly environment, staffed by Christians but available to all. Able to sleep up to 50 in total.

We are in an ideal location for large families to get together near the beach and have quality time together in comfortable surroundings. Set up as a charity, we provide a place for youth groups, families and schools to experience this wonderful corner of North Devon at an affordable rate. We are only 1.5 miles from some fantastic sandy surf beaches.

There are 2 separate buildings at St. George's House: The Old Rectory and The Coach House. Both are included in your booking, as is exclusive use of the whole site.

Inside the Old Rectory there is a large lounge with games and soft seating, a smaller lounge with sofas, a fully equipped kitchen for all your catering needs, a spacious dining room and accommodation upstairs. The bedrooms vary from 2 to 12 beds and all are full size adult beds with quality mattresses. 2 rooms have an en suite shower and 2 others are doubles. See 360° tour and floorplans on our website.

We have our own outdoor play area with zip-wire, basket swing, climbing boulder, scramble net and fireman's pole. Picnic tables and a large barbecue allow you to enjoy the outdoor space as much as the weather allows.

The Old Rectory has a pool table and table football. The Coach House building next door houses lovely double rooms upstairs and our own mini cinema and table tennis. It also has plenty of indoor space so there's something to do if the weather is against you.

If you fancy trying something adventurous during your stay then our own full time staff can offer a wide range of activities from surfing, climbing, coasteering, kayaking, mountain biking, archery and fencing. We are a licensed provider (with the AALA) for climbing and watersports which means you can rest assured you'll be in safe hands if you choose to go for an activity with us.

Village park, games area and football field only a short stroll away too.

Due to our village location, St. George's House is not available for stag, hen or similar groups.
