A stay at Stables Lodge is further enhanced by the Function Room for hire in the grounds, a great place for everyone to gather for a meal prepared in the large well equipped catering kitchen by guests or outside caterers who will come in and do it all for you. This space can also be utilised by smaller business groups, with conference facilities for up to 45 delegates or even a small wedding with the option of erecting a marquee on the adjacent field.

The self contained layout of the lodges and penthouse ensures guests have private space with a lounge area for relaxing, kitchen and gallery bedroom. There are plenty of opportunities for the whole group to gather outside on the heated decked areas, for a drink or even al fresco dining. The penthouse has 2 balconies with lovely countryside views, one facing east and one west. Outside there are large lawned areas for children to let off steam, and a secure dog run too.

The mix of accommodation on 2 floors works well for groups of all ages. Sofa beds and children's beds are available by prior arrangement in all of the properties for larger group bookings. Wet rooms offer modern and convenient facilities on the ground floor of the lodges, some with special fittings for the less mobile. There is an en suite full bathroom just off the master penthouse bedroom as well as a walk in wardrobe.

Visitors can take advantage of local walks along country footpaths from the door of these dog friendly lodges, or venture further afield into the Peak District National Park. Stables Lodge provides a great base for exploring popular historic destinations such as Chatsworth House and the Bass Museum in Burton on Trent, 6 miles away. For the more adventurous and young at heart, Alton Towers is the centre for thrills, only a 30 minute drive from the property.
