## About The Property

This converted former hotel has been sympathetically converted into 12 bedrooms, most with en suite facilities, with stunning views either of the fells to the north or the gardens, rivers and fells to the south.

Stanley House is perfect for gatherings of family and friends, for special occasions and celebrations, or as a base for a wide range of outdoor activities.

All rooms are very comfortably furnished to a high standard and include flat screen TVs with DVD players and super-fast fibre WiFi for those that cannot be away from it all. All the bathrooms have bath and shower.

On the ground floor there are two large sitting rooms, one with a cosy wood burning stove and doughy sofas to laze on, the other equally as comfortable and with the added large screen TV. We also have a large screen Cinema that seats 26 - ideal for family gatherings: Sky Sports, Apple TV, DVD player, you name it, it can probably get it.

A spacious kitchen/dining room overlooking the extensive gardens with the confluence of the River Esk and Whillan Beck.

There are endless walks straight from the door - river, flat or hilly, depending on the level of activity require. Plus, we have the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway on our doorstep (literally!) with discounts available for all guests.

We are surrounded by 5 fantastic inns, all serving excellent food and award winning real ale; none of them further than a 5 minute drive, and two of them within a 10 minute walk.

- **WiFi:** Super-fast fibre WiFi available throughout.
- **Dog Friendly:** Maximum of 4 dogs, please, unless by prior arrangement.
- **Kitchen:** Well equipped open plan kitchen for self catering with 2 ovens, large 6-burner hob, fridge/freezer, 2 dishwashers and plenty of everything else.
- **Dining Room:** Overlooking the extensive gardens and confluence of two rivers, the dining room incorporates the kitchen.
- **Sitting Room:** 2 sitting rooms - one with wood burning stove.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 26-seater cinema room with Sky, Apple TV and DVD player. Flat screen TVs players in every bedroom, along with free WiFi all over the building.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Wood burning stove, open fire in dining room and full central heating.
- **Bedrooms:** 12 rooms all with stunning views, TV and DVD player. Can be configured as twins or doubles, and extra beds can be provided.
- **Linen:** All linen is provided - all crisp white laundry and white fluffy towels.
- **Bathrooms:** Every bathroom - most en suite - has bath and shower, and they all have a window with glorious views! Complementarity toiletries provided.
- **Children's Facilities:** High chairs, extra beds and travel cots available on request.
- **Outdoor:** Large gardens with the confluence of two rivers.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no swimming pool, but hot tubs can be hired in.
- **Parking:** Plenty - at least 15 cars.
- **Smoking:** Smoking is not permitted.

## Booking Information

- We require a deposit of £500 to confirm a reservation, full payment is due 4 weeks before arrival, the deposit is used as a bond and refunded after departure.
