“A hotel suite in a field” is how one of our first guests described us, and that is what we are very proud of achieving here at In the Stix. This is glamping but not as you’ve previously known it.

Set in the beautiful, but little known county of Rutland, like the county there's a lot to discover here. Made up of 6 geodesic domes, In The Stix provides accommodation for up to 36 people. Our carefully positioned domes allow guests enough privacy if booking a single dome but also work very well when taken over by a large party or group booking.

The domes each sleep 6 and provide our guests with 2 bedrooms, a downstairs master bedroom for 2 and upstairs mezzanine level able to sleep 4. This is a very versatile space allowing for different bed configurations according to our visitors' requirements. The living area is within the dome; a large Chesterfield leather sofa and armchairs are all set up to look out onto the beautiful view across our little valley, while you relax in front of your log burner. For those warmer summer nights we have also appointed each dome with their own personal log fired hot tub.

If you are part of a larger group there is a very large communal fire pit for all those wanting to gather and socialise. Situated away from the domes, it is a lovely space to gather on an evening when little people are sleeping or you want to make a bit more noise! Star gazing from either the hot tub or the fire pit is unmissable on a clear night.

Each dome boasts it’s own kitchen, fully equipped and supplying everything you could possibly need for your stay. All your essentials are included in the cost, making your stay an easy one to pack for. A wood fired pizza oven is situated outside each kitchen, upholding the camping experience of outdoor cooking.

In addition to your own kitchen you also have something generally unheard of in the glamping world, an en suite bathroom! With its oversized shower and plumbed in facilities (no compost in sight) this truly is like nothing ever seen in a field before! These home comforts allow our visitors to enjoy getting back to nature and the great outdoors in style.

- **WiFi:** This is limited to your own network provider.
- **Accessibility:** No facilities for disabled guests.
- **Dog Friendly:** Dogs are allowed - there is a £25 charge per dog.
- **Kitchen:** Each dome boasts it’s own kitchen, fully equipped and supplying everything you need for your stay, including your own wood fired pizza oven!
- **Dining Room:** The dining area is within each kitchen but large groups have enjoyed joining up the tables on the grass to create a large social dining space.
- **Sitting Room:** Beautifully designed living spaces. Each with a large Chesterfield leather sofa, armchairs and log burners overlooking our stunning view.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** None, this is an outdoor experience, encouraging a digital detox.
- **Games Room:** The great outdoors!
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Log burners, pizza ovens, individual wood fired hot tub per dome. A large communal fire pit (big enough for all site guests)is open to the whole site.
- **Bedrooms:** 2 bedroom spaces per dome: a master suite downstairs, upstairs is versatile, allowing for a combination of single or double beds for 4.
- **Linen:** All linens are supplied by us. Beds are made up for arrival and each guest is supplied with towels and toiletries.
- **Bathrooms:** One of only a few glamping sites with full en suite plumbed facilities! A large shower in each.
- **Children's Facilities:** Play area, football goal.
- **Outdoor:** Play area, football goal, fire pit. Outside tables which guests can join together for group dining.
- **Parking:** Yes free parking available on site.
- **Smoking:** No indoor smoking is permitted on site.

## Booking Information

- These prices are per dome for 6 people. Please contact us directly to have an accurate quote for your group. Our slots run from Mondays or Fridays. Our minimum stay is 3 nights. A deposit of 50% and £100 damage deposit is taken when placing booking. Our 4 nights mid week stays give you a free night
