Situated close together, our domes provide fantastic accommodation for any youth or school group looking for an outdoor experience. The set up of the site allows the group leaders to have a dome to themselves but still in very close vicinity of the group.
Set in our little valley, any group staying here has the chance to experience the great outdoors in relative safety – allowing them to explore the fields and our little brook and the wonderful natural dens formed by our beautiful willow trees.
Our fire pit provides not only a place to relax on an evening but a great chance to use the area as a learning platform for bushcraft and other outdoor activities. This can be arranged through us with a local company who teach bushcraft skills at nearby schools.
The great outdoors provides a wonderful classroom for the children, whether it is learning about wild flowers or discovering different species of birds – we certainly have it all here, from song birds to swallows and pheasants to partridge. There is no shortage of inspiration and our beautiful little brook also brings with it different wildlife from our resident egret to some nesting mallards. Situated on the edge of Exton Park we often have sighting of wild deer and last year we even had a nesting barn owl!
With Rutland Water only 6 miles away, if you want activities, it is all here on our doorstep. There is a wide range of things to do from open water swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, cycling, and we now have the largest inflatable Aqua Park in the UK.
If, after a busy day out at Rutland water, you didn’t want to start cooking, let us do it for you! We now offer our pizza and steak nights, choose between the two and let us do the rest. We will set up and clear up for you, allowing you a much earned rest after your activities.
We believe we can offer a truly inspirational trip for children or youth groups. A much needed digital detox for our younger generation.
