Ideal for those that would like to go camping with a touch of luxury, Withybed Yurt site consists of 4 handmade yurts. There are 3 yurts providing bedroom space and which allow up to 14 people to sleep comfortably; 2 are fitted with a king size double bed, 2 singles and a futon (should it be needed), while the third sleeping yurt has 4 single beds. The fourth yurt is the living area, with a large handmade sofa against the inside wall and a large oak table in front, with seating for all. This yurt gives a relaxed and warm social area for everyone to enjoy should you wish to not be outside. A small kitchen-like unit allows for some cooking to be done inside the comfort of the yurt.
All 4 yurts sit on a raised decking platform with a campfire down on the grass in front, next to an idyllic oak wood. The site has a barbecue for cooking but also a well equipped kitchen area with a fridge, gas cooker (oven and hobs), sink and work area. Two large picnic benches are also on site to ensure that everyone has a seat.
Round the back there is a compost loo, gas heated shower and an outdoor bath. Hot water for the bath and kitchen is sourced from the on-site wood-fired boiler.
