Welcome to Stony House, a modern detached holiday cottage a short walk from Stroud town centre, accommodating 10 to 12 guests. Perfect for extended family gatherings, friends get-togethers and celebrations.

Surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with numerous countryside walks, and within the South Cotswolds, this is perfect for a country weekend. Take a look at the local canals which are under restoration, or walk up to Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons with your dog. There is a wealth of country pubs and many restaurants to choose from. Stroud has a fantastic Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and there are lots of galleries and makers' studios to explore too.

All 4 bedrooms have zip link convertible twin single or superking double bed options. There is an extra single bed in 2 of the bedrooms to provide sleeping accommodation for up to 10 guests in single beds, or up to 4 couples plus singles. The double sofa bed and sling-style canvas camp bed in the reception room provides further flexibility for a total of up to 5 couples or 12 singles.

Enjoy a good night's sleep on hotel quality pocket spring mattresses, with 100% cotton white linen, dust mite breathable barrier protection enclosing pillows and on mattresses, hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, or feather bedding on request.

Stroud and the surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and cyclists all year round, with many local routes and plenty of storage for muddy boots and bikes in the garage. And there are lots of family and other attractions in the area - something for everyone.

3 night weekend bookings or 3/4/5 night midweek breaks are welcome (excludes Christmas/New Year) with reduced rates for Sunday nights. 2 night weekend bookings are available all year (excludes Bank Holidays) with optional late Sunday departures for small additional cost. Friday or Saturday single night breaks to include morning arrival and/or late evening departure the following day.

Dining table for 10 or a cosy 12 in open plan kitchen diner. High chairs and travel cots available on request at the time of booking.

Unlimited WiFi. Mobile reception for most networks.
There is no games room.
Gas central heating.
4 bedrooms, each with 2 single pocket sprung beds, all zip link convertible to superking double beds. Extra single bed in 2 bedrooms, double sofa bed.
100% cotton white linen (professionally laundered, with mattress protection) and white towels provided.
3 bathrooms - family bathroom with bath and shower over, family shower room, en suite with bath and shower over.
There are no specific facilities for disabled guests.
Travel cots, high chairs and door gates (not suitable for stairs) on request, subject to availability.
Enclosed garden with decking area, and lawn.
There is no swimming pool, but Stroud has public leisure facilities, including both an indoor swimming pool and traditional open air swimming lido.
Off road driveway parking for 3 vehicles.
No smoking permitted inside the property. You are of course welcome to smoke outside.
Well behaved dogs permitted (not in the bedrooms please). £30 for each canine companion.

On the edge of Stroud town centre (10 minute walk), near to the canals. In the South Cotswolds, in a very accessible location. Near open countryside for excellent walks and cycling.
