Perfect for friends and family gatherings, it is a fantastic property for a weekend break, celebration or holiday. 2 night minimum stay at weekends. Its location on the edge of the Norfolk Broads makes this a great base for exploring the area including the Suffolk border market towns of Beccles and Bungay and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. A trip to Norwich, a 15 minute drive from Stubbs, is a must to look at its museum, medieval cathedral and range of shops and restaurants. Loddon also has a number of good pubs serving food and ales, all within 5 minutes. There are also lots of opportunities for walking and cycling from the door. Set in an acre of enclosed grounds, Stubbs House offers elegant and spacious sociable living areas where guests can cook, eat and relax together and have an all round good time. The kitchen is very well designed and fully equipped for use by guests or an outside caterer for a special celebratory feast. Afterwards, sit back on the many squishy sofas in the lounge for a proper catch up or to watch a film on the 65" TV. For some additional fun, why not have a game of pool or table tennis in the games room, or experiment by mixing a Margarita in the cocktail bar! The enclosed garden and decking area is an ideal spot for a morning coffee or a glass of fizz after a busy day. Unwind in one of the 2 hot tubs and take in the pretty countryside views. Get the barbecue going while the children let off some steam on the lawn. Accommodation provides a handy mix of superkings, kings and singles to keep everyone happy. The en suite ground floor room is especially useful for multi generation guests or those with mobility issues. Bedrooms are light and airy with large picture windows, stylish soft furnishings and a TV. Stubbs House has a plentiful range of facilities including 9 bathrooms and 11 WCs. Recently corporate firms have been using the house mid week for team building/training exercises and we are getting some great feedback.
