Affectionately called the Lady of the Loch, Stuckgowan dates from before 1820 and was built with elegant lancet windows and arched doorways with stunning views of Loch Lomond. Easy access from Glasgow airport or take a train from Balloch or Tarbet Stations. We do recommend guests have a car to enjoy the stunning location in which we are located. You can simply enjoy Loch Lomond and all is has to offer or travel further and explore the beauty on offer in The Trossachs National Park.

Stuckgowan offers a host of thoughtful details to make your stay in this unmatched location incredible and incredibly convenient. Our high spec large dining kitchen offers a breakfast bar and window seating area that holds 14, the kitchen is big enough to accommodate lavish breakfasts or late-night gatherings. You have the choice of full self catering or we have a list of our approved chefs offering as much or as little catering as you wish.
The library is a comfortable room looking out to the gardens and the Loch with games, TV and a telescope to watch the stars at night. Also at the front is the luxurious lounge with log fire and great room for all to gather. The dining room, again with the same stunning views of the Loch, caters comfortably for up to 19 guests - perfect for celebration dinners. The media room has a home cinema, and there's a pool table, bar and hot tub too, for evening fun and relaxation. A small fitness suite is also available for guests on the entertainment level.
At Stuckgowan we offer 9 bedrooms comfortably sleeping 19 in existing beds + 2 child day beds – 1 bedroom with an 8ft circular bed, 1 triple room, 2 double rooms each with a child’s day bed, 3 further double bedrooms, 2 twin rooms and 6 bath or shower rooms.
