Cavendish with its antique shops, designer boutiques and traditional pubs, and Long Melford known for its two fabulous historic buildings Kentwell Hall and The National Trust's Melford Hall, are within 20 minutes drive.
We are also just a short drive from Suffolk's historic market town of Bury St. Edmunds, with its extensive shopping area, Abbey and Gardens. Visit the famous horse racing track and museum at Newmarket, just a 40 minutes drive. Explore Cambridge, the wonderful University City or try punting on the river Cam, or just stay on site. Relax and unwind.
The Granary, a former grain store, now converted to offer stylish, open plan 4* Gold accommodation for up to 10 guests in 3 double bedrooms and large family room sleeping up to 4.
Offering accommodation for up to 12 guests in 3 yurts. Our 2 large luxury yurts are quality handcrafted with oak doors and windows, each sleeping up to 5 guests. Smaller yurt for 2 guests with cozy double bed.
Yurts each have a wood burning stove for heating and cooking and use of BBQ too. Wood for stove and gas for BBQ included.
Also available our delightful cottage room with waterside views for 2 guests. Opposite The Granary. With TV and en suite.
Guests have complimentary use of an extensive games room, with air hockey, football table, darts, and plenty of board games. Pool game also available (small extra cost). Outside we offer giant chess, croquet on the lawn and rounders.
