Suffolk Retreats is situated 3 miles from Clare, the smallest town in Suffolk with Clare Priory, Country Park, and walks. Cavendish with its antique shops, designer boutiques and traditional pubs, and Long Melford known for its two fabulous historic buildings Kentwell Hall and The National Trust's Melford Hall, are within 20 minutes drive. Haverhill is also only a short drive. 30 minutes from  Suffolk's historic market town of Bury St. Edmunds, with its extensive shopping area, Abbey and Gardens. Visit the famous horse racing track and museum at Newmarket, just a 40 minutes drive. Explore Cambridge, the wonderful University City or try punting on the river Cam, or just stay on site.
