It's the perfect place to rest, relax, share fun and be enthralled by the dramatic sea and sky scape; see amazing shipping of all sizes pass by closer than anywhere else in the UK, the dramatic tides are the second highest/fastest in the world, and the setting sun delights just across the balcony with both the Welsh coast and Black Mountains spectacular in the distance.

Guests can use the various living rooms, balconies, play area, TV room and enjoy outside space right next to the sea. With 7 plus beautiful bedrooms and 7 bathrooms spread over 3 floors ..... all accessible by a spacious lift, more than one wheelchair accessible bathrooms, a level entrance into the lobby - this house is truly for everyone!

The neighbourhood is delightful, not only next to the stunning estuary, with breathtaking sunset, but next door to the ornamental lake grounds, which have gorgeous gardens, a lake full of ducks and swans, play areas for the children, tennis and football, plus a beautiful heated public open-air pool with amazing views! There is an abundance of supermarkets, cafes, eateries and shops within a short walk both in town and in the fashionable Marina area, which has a stunning array of boats and is the perfect place to meander around and sip a glass or cuppa.

For those who are serious hikers, to those interested in a leisurely dog jaunt or a stroll around the beautiful marina or a short trip to the pub, of which there are various 5-10 minutes away, there is lots to do. Portishead is perfectly placed for reaching other areas of outstanding beauty with Bristol, Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and Stonehenge just a manageable drive away.

No specific facilities for children as the stairs are too wide for a stair gate, but children love the place- we have travel cots and a high chair
Stylish balconies with fab sea views, barbecue and grass area right next to the sea! Outdoor public pool and boating lake 5 mins walk - kids delight!
There is no swimming pool, but one within a 5 mins walk!
Parking for 4/5 cars off road and plenty of safe on-road parking.
No smoking inside property.

Sited on the Estuary coastline in Portishead, North Somerset. The house is an ideal base to explore the beautiful offerings of Somerset, Bristol and beyond.
Central Portishead 0.3 mile, central Bristol 10.5 miles, central Bath 32.8 miles, Weston Super Mare 19.9 miles, Cheddar 24.8 miles.
Supermarkets, cafes and general shopping 0.3 mile, The Mall at Cribbs Causeway 10 miles.
Closest 0.2 mile and lots more within walking distance. The favourite Black Horse is just 5 minutes drive away.

Booking Information

Minimum stay 2 nights, damage deposit £1000+ payable before arrival, check in 4pm onwards and check out by 10am or arrangement.

Christmas and New Year Minimum stay 4 days.
