The neighbourhood is delightful, not only next to the stunning estuary, with breathtaking sunsets, but next door to the ornamental lake grounds, which have gorgeous gardens, a lake full of ducks and swans, play areas for the children, tennis and football, plus a beautiful heated public open-air pool with amazing views! There is an abundance of supermarkets, cafes, eateries and shops within a short walk both in town and in the fashionable Marina area, which has a stunning array of boats and is the perfect place to meander around and sip a glass or cuppa.

It's a great place for those who love to walk, either serious hikers or for just a leisurely dog jaunt - there's plenty of choice and masses to do locally for everyone. Plus Portishead is perfectly placed for reaching other areas of outstanding beauty with Bristol, Bath, Bruton, Glastonbury, Wells and Stonehenge and the whole of Somerset, (coastline beaches or inland) just a manageable drive away.
