## About The Property

Our three eco-cottages are designed to provide the perfect place for families and friends to get together and have fun. They are light, spacious and have a balance between shared living spaces and privacy. The three cottages can be booked independently or interlinked. There is one large central open plan living-dining room (with custom-made dining table) and two cosier sitting rooms, with separate kitchens.

Our ground-floor bedrooms and fully accessible wet rooms make a great venue for guests with special mobility and accessibility requirements.

The barns can be rented individually or joined together, providing accommodation for groups from 4 to up to 20. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

All our cottages are heated from locally sourced wood through underfloor heating from our great beast of a wood boiler, to keep you snug and the water piping hot. Each cottage also has its own wood-burning stove for that homely glow. 

Each cottage has its own outside seating and barbecue facilities and there is a fire pit for those wanting to make the most of long summer nights, or stoke up the fire for the cooler ones.

You are welcome to wander round the farm, including our ancient orchard, fields, rewilding ponds and organic plant nursery. There are fabulous walks and cycling opportunities all around, with plenty of outdoor activities in the area.

There is parking for as many cars as you need to bring.

Our local pub (with excellent beers, wine and food) is only a short walk away. Historic Wirksworth (5 minutes drive or a lovely 30-minute walk away) offers independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs, a historic railway and an abundance of special events and markets throughout the year. History buffs will love the Chatsworth and Haddon estates (play spot the film location) or exploring Richard Arkwright mills in the birthplace of industry, nearby Derwent Valley. Crich Tramway Village offers a fun multigenerational day out, riding restored trams, playing in the woods and visiting reconstructed heritage buildings from all over Britain.

We  offer a unique cosy countryside getaway for family and friends get-togethers, celebrations and other special events.

- **Accessibility:** Most of the property has no steps on the ground floor. Two disabled wet rooms are available.

- **Kitchen:** Each cottage has a fully fitted and fully equipped kitchen.
- **Dining Room:** Large, custom-made dining table in the central cottage. Antique tables in each of the end cottages.
- **Sitting Room:** Enough space for everyone, and more.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** WiFi, Digital TV and Hi-Fi systems in each cottage.
- **Games Room:** The great outdoors!
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Underfloor heating and stoves in each cottage.
- **Bedrooms:** Comfy, mainly en-suite bedrooms can be set up as doubles or twins. Shared bathrooms for a few bedrooms.
- **Linen:** Included in the price.
- **Bathrooms:** Power-showers available for all rooms. Mainly en suite. Two baths are available, if you prefer a good soak!
- **Children's Facilities:** Six acres of orchards, gardens and fields to enjoy!
- **Outdoor:** Fire pit, barbecues, beautiful gardens, and plenty of walking and cycling nearby.
- **Swimming Pool:** Only the eco-swimming pond, if you don't mind wildlife! Or a large open-air spring-fed lido a short drive away.
- **Parking:** Space available for as many cars as you need!
- **Smoking:** Outside only.
