Symonds Yat Lodge is situated in the beautiful location of Symonds Yat betwixt the market towns of Ross on Wye and Monmouth. The stunning location is world renowned for its beauty with river and forest walks on the doorstep. The famous Symonds Yat Rock stands above the Lodge and watching peregrine falcons and buzzards is a daily delight. Symonds Yat Lodge can sleep up to 50 guests across 25 en suite bedrooms. Alternatively, for a smaller group of up to 30, there is the option of taking just 15 bedrooms. The Lodge was originally built in 1876 as a Royal hunting lodge, was converted to a hotel in the 1920's and now provides an ideal base for group holidays, party weekends and celebrations, plus corporate get aways, and you can even get married here! The accommodation is perfect for large groups with all bedrooms en suite, quite a rare find! There's a convenient mix of double, single and family bedrooms to suit all group types. The dining room is big enough for everyone to eat together in comfort, with a commercial kitchen, lounges, stunning gardens and amazing views. There is also a party room, games room and your own bar! Within a very short walk there is an excellent pub and restaurant, and a hand-pulled river ferry for beautiful circular walks. A canoe centre, a 5 minute walk away, will take care of all your needs regarding watersports on the River Wye. The mature gardens offer somewhere for everyone to dine al fresco, with seating for everyone.
