Ta Mill is a great venue for creating the wedding of your dreams. Licensed to hold the ceremony inside or outside, you will be offered a variety of packages to choose from to make the day go with a bang. Located in 45 acres of prime Cornish countryside, this hideaway will become the backdrop for your special day and leave you with lifelong memories.
The Ceremony Room overlooking the Courtyard holds up to 100 guests or, for something bigger, choose one of a number of outdoor locations in the gardens, maybe next to the pond or under the trees. There are a number of packages available from an exclusive hire option to smaller ceremonies ranging from 16 to 32 guests. The ethos of Ta Mill is “Your wedding, your way” and indeed this is our aim. We provide a blank canvas and you fill it in with catering choices of perhaps a wedding breakfast in The Courtyard or in a specially erected marquee in the garden. Depending on the number of guests, why not decide on a Hog Roast or a Big Pan Party. Ta Mill can point you in the direction of carefully sourced suppliers for a fabulous celebratory feast, top notch photographers, florists and marquee or teepee hire. And of course, there are any number of photograph opportunities in the extensive grounds.
For anyone who wants an intimate wedding for 2, Elopement weddings are becoming increasingly popular where just the 2 of you get hitched in front of witnesses arranged by us and afterwards head to the luxury hot tub and toast your future. Perfectly romantic!
The big advantage of Ta Mill is the variety of 4 star on site accommodation to be hired out by guests, with the larger house and lodges for families and the smaller cottages as boltholes for 2 – something to suit all. Why not make a weekend of it and enjoy some pre and post wedding festivities and much needed relaxation.

Dog Friendly

Forge, Dairy, 2 lodges, 3 chalets and 4 smaller cottages allow dogs. Please bring a dog basket and do not allow on beds or furniture. Keep on a lead.

Accessibility

Dairy Cottage is ground floor wheelchair accessible with a wet room.

Hot Tub

3 properties have their own hot tubs. There is a site hot tub and swim spa available for use.

WiFi is available throughout.

Kitchen

All cottages, lodges and chalets have well equipped kitchens including dishwasher in Ta Mill, Dairy, Forge and Brookview Lodge 2.

Dining Room

Dine together, up to 60, in the courtyard room or barbecue together al fresco in the courtyard. Pizza oven and firepit are also available.

Sitting Room

All lounges have sofas and TVs. The house and all of the cottages have wood burning stoves except for Smithy Cottage.

TV and Music Facilities

TVs in all lounges. Dairy Cottages has TVs in all rooms. Ta Mill has TVs in 3 bedrooms.

Games Room

There is a games room with table tennis, pool table, and many more games.

House and most cottages have central heating. Millers and Dairy underfloor heating. Lodges and chalets storage heaters. Wood stoves in cottages.

Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

Travel cots and high chairs can be provided by prior arrangement. Outdoor children's play area and Games Room.

Each unit has an enclosed garden with patio or a deck space with seating and a barbecue. Courtyard area. Hot tub and swim spa available for hire.

Swimming Pool

Swim spa and hot tub - separate hire. Hot tub is £25 for a 1 hour session, swim spa £35 per hour.

No smoking inside any of the properties please.

Booking Information

Check in from 4pm and check out by 10 am. A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking and the balance due 4 weeks before arrival. Early/late check-in/out available upon request. Please contact us for pricing for your dates and requirements.
