The Buttery is an elegant house, beautifully designed with cool living areas including a fully equipped kitchen and the possibility of dining for 18 (at a push). The lounge has a sumptuous velvet sofa and exquisite soft furnishings. Bedrooms are designed for a good night's sleep, spacious rooms with a muted palette. Bathrooms are plentiful. And there's another wood fired hot tub outside too.
Hilly Haven also has a private wood fired hot tub outside for a bit of extra magic, and provides more comfortable accommodation for a larger group. The Showman Cavanilla can be hired in combination or on its own, a romantic gypsy caravan worthy of any bride and groom. Tan House Newland is happy to host small wedding receptions, with a village church and registry office nearby for the formal elements of a celebration.
The Forest of Dean is an area rich in walking and cycling trails with many visitor attractions including Symonds Yat Rock and Clearwell Caves. The Wye Valley nearby is a magnet for walkers and those who enjoy water-based activities too.
