Tanglewood is spectacularly located right on the shore of Coniston Water, ensuring jaw-dropping, wrap around lake views from the many windows. And there's private direct lake access to beautiful Coniston Water, a designated bathing site, with two private jetties for paddle-boarding, canoeing or wild swimming.

On the first floor, an extraordinary lounge with a spectacular glass gable-end has inviting sofas for socialising and relaxing. A built-in log burning stove ensures your evenings are cosy. Glass doors give access to the upper terrace.


The luxury, high specification kitchen features a large 12-seater dining table for sociable meals, comfortable sofas and floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides. Bi-fold doors open onto a spacious, south-facing patio and raised front lawn overlooking the lake, with garden furniture and built-in BBQ. A utility room has a washing machine and drier. A walk-in pantry houses a large freezer, fridge and microwave.

The large lounge features comfortable sofas, Smart TV and log-burning stove.

Also on the ground floor is one of 5 double bedrooms with en suite shower, plus separate WC.

One of the many highlights of Tanglewood is the superb, south-facing first floor sitting room, with an enormous u-shaped sofa plus in-built log burning stove. The incredible glazed wall showcases the property’s jaw-dropping location, with access to the upper terrace and driveway, giving stair free access to the first floor.

Also on the first floor are 4 of the house’s 5 double bedrooms, one of which can hold 2 singles for children, all with en suite or private shower room.

Sprawling, wrap around gardens including patios, terraces and lawns overlooking the lake, extensive woodlands and lake shore. Stylish outdoor furniture and a built-in BBQ provide ample opportunities for al fresco dining in style, morning coffees by the lake or evening cocktails under the clear night skies.

The double garage ensures ample secure storage for bikes, canoes, paddle-boards and adventure gear.

The house has private lake access onto Coniston Water and comes with 2 private jetties, private beaches, woodland, terraces and gardens. There are also beautiful walks nearby for all abilities and enthusiasm levels. Coniston village is a 10-15 minute drive away where you’ll find a great selection of traditional pubs, cafes and independent shops. Or head south for 15-20 minutes to the bustling market town of Ulverston, where you find upmarket supermarkets, restaurants, shops and of course, more great pubs.
