Offering versatile, eco-friendly, self-catering accommodation, available as individual bunkhouses, or as a whole. Tarset Tor’s striking timber eco-buildings integrate effortlessly into their natural surroundings, making the most of this remarkable location and providing the perfect base for any outdoor adventure. There is a beautiful, tranquil woodland setting, contemporary living accommodation, barbecue and fire pit, cycle store and bike wash and green energy technology. There is a pool table, drying room, free WiFi, sauna/bird hide and a woodland bar and bbq area with fairy lights and seating. Pets welcome. Sports facilities include a 5 a side football pitch/netball court. A wide range of other sports facilities can be found locally. The stylish bunkhouse is a superb social space, offering comfortable, contemporary sleeping quarters for 16/20 guests in 4 separate rooms, together with shared cooking, eating, showering, lounge facilities and a dining table that seats 20. The versatile floor plan can be adapted to create a welcoming venue for events, conferences and parties. A south-facing covered veranda spans the length of the building, capturing the best of the sun and providing additional al fresco space. The open-plan layout includes cosy pellet fired stoves as well as lounge/diner kitchens. The bothies benefit from individual verandas with vistas that extend to the North Tyne/Tarset valleys and the nearby Scottish hills. Perfect for larger families or smaller groups looking to get away from it all and explore one of England's wildest and most unspoilt landscapes. 3 campervan/camping pitches are available for customers who book the whole site (which includes the Bunkhouse and 5 Bothies) for an additional fee. The site includes an eco-WC, one shower and 2 basins for washing up. There are also areas available for barbecuing and lighting fires. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** We allow up to 4 dogs in the Bunkhouse and 2 dogs in each Bothy. We have a small area of grazing for persons wanting to bring their horses or ponies. - **Accessibility:** The Bunkhouse has a accessible access ramp, wide corridors and accessible shower/WC. - **WiFi:** Free WiFi covering entire site. - **Kitchen:** The Bunkhouse has a fully fitted kitchen inc. large fridge, double sinks and microwave. B4 & 5 have 2 rooms, 1 + King size and a 4 berth bunk - **Linen:** All bed linen, duvets and pillows are provided.
