The Santa Cristina Estate lies in the central Italian region of Lazio, in a perfect position for sightseeing in Rome just 30 miles away and for day trips to Umbria and Tuscany. Ideal for family holidays and special occasions with groups of friends.
Surrounded by expanses of vines and olive trees that lead to the horizon, there are large gardens and a gazebo-covered patio where you can relax in a cool ambience and dine al fresco. A few metres from the main house is a large pool for the exclusive use of our guests. Also at the disposal of our guests is a tennis court, 5-a-side football pitch and table tennis. The main villa is fully wheelchair accessible.
The layout of the villas allows for privacy for members of a large group. On the ground floor of each house is a large living room with sun windows, a fireplace, satellite TV, DVD and CD player, telephone and free wireless internet broadband. The dining area in the large villa can seat 16, and there's a fully-fitted kitchen. On this level there is also a twin bedroom with private bathroom with bath.
The other bedrooms are on the first floor; a double with private bathroom and 2 twins with private bathroom with shower or bath in each house.
The 2 pools (14 x 7 mt, 1,20 - 1,40 mt depth and 12 x 5 mt, 1,20 - 1,40 mt depth ) are set in their own garden with views of the estate. The terrace has chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 changing rooms, each with a bathroom.
The Estate is located 2.5 miles from the quiet town of Magliano Sabina, in the enchanting Sabina area. Near Rome, yet untouched by mass tourism, Sabina remains authentic and unspoilt, with agriculture an important focus. This is a fantastic destination for food lovers, with olive oil integral to local cuisine. The surrounding gentle hills are home to Roman villas, medieval castles, churches and abbeys and many features of Italy’s historic, cultural, architectural and artistic past. The main road route gives easy access to some of the most important artistic sites of central Italy, including Rome, Florence, Orvieto, Spoleto, Arezzo and Siena.
