The Allendale Wolf offers an exclusive self catering bunkhouse ideal for groups of friends and families. Bedrooms offer double, single and some bunk beds, leaving ample space for travel cots, and most of our bedrooms are en suite. Downstairs is a large open plan area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for up to 20 and a lounge area with comfortable sofas to relax. Double French doors lead onto a patio area with steps into a small and secure garden. Guests will soon be able to enjoy a snooker table and dart board.  The Allendale Wolf now has a games and cinema room in the loft conversion. A fabulous second amenity space to relax and enjoy. The Allendale Wolf is located on the Market Place of Allendale Town amid the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Northumberland, a 15 minute drive from Hexham, 40 minutes from Newcastle or Carlisle. The market place has 2 lovely country pubs: The Lion House and the King's Head, both with pool table, darts, real fires. The Forge art gallery, cafe and gift shop, a pharmacy and Allendale medical practice and the library are all a stone's throw away. Allendale also has a fabulous Indian Take Away just half a mile from the Bunkhouse. The Allendale Post Office has recently diversified and offers tasty takeaway meals and pizzas, please order in advance. Just down the “Peth” you will find the River East Allen with a beautiful river walk, all the way to the lovely village of Catton with another fabulous cafe featuring views across the valley. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved pets are welcome (max 2 dogs), but not in the bedrooms. A separate damage deposit will be taken. - **Accessibility:** There are no disabled facilities in terms of lifts. - **Hot Tub:** Located in the private garden. - **WiFi:** The bunkhouse has WiFi. - **Kitchen:** The kitchen features a fully electric 4 oven large range cooker, large fridge freezer and larder cupboards providing plenty of storage space. - **Dining Room:** The dining area consists of a snooker table which transforms into a table tennis and dining table. There is also a dart board. - **Sitting Room:** The sitting area consists of a large corner sofa, foot stools and a further sofa with reading lights. It is adjacent to the dining area. - **TV and Music Facilities:** There is a large smart TV.
