The Isle of Bute is the most accessible of the Scottish islands and just a short ferry ride from the mainland, making it a popular choice for guests wanting to escape for the weekend or longer. The Apartment is perfectly set up for 3 generation families or 2 families on holiday together. Equally it's a great choice for friends, couples, walkers, cyclists, stags and hens meeting up for a celebration or activity break. The living area is open plan design, featuring a well equipped kitchen, sociable dining and a cosy lounge with large TV. The highlight of the apartment is the gorgeous seaview deck looking out over the Clyde and beyond; with outside seating your group can enjoy barbecues and evening drinks out here with a stunning backdrop to boot. There is also a lovely little outdoor area at the rear of the property, lovely for a morning coffee and a catch up or a quiet moment with a book. 4 stylish bedrooms are configured as 1 king, 2 doubles and a triple (3 single beds), with tasteful use of colour and attractive soft furnishings. All bedrooms have contemporary en suite bathrooms, 2 with a bath and shower over. There is plenty to see when staying on Bute; for starters there's an array of wonderful sandy beaches, with hidden gems including Glencallum Bay Lighthouse which stands on the south eastern tip of the island. Or visit the Maids of Bute, historic stones with a back story. Rothesay is the island's capital, with good pubs and eateries along with attractions to visit including the quirky Pencil Box, a repurposed telephone box where you can pick up homemade sweet treats and swap your holiday reading material. Keen fishermen can head to Loch Fad for trout and pike angling.
