Facilities

Dog Friendly

Well behaved dogs are welcome in living areas although not on furniture or bedrooms and should always be accompanied. A small charge of £30 per dog.

Accessibility

One bedroom in The Great Barn is fully accessible with wet room. Fully accessible to kitchen, lounge and dining room. Guest lawn is also accessible.

WiFi

Fastest WiFi speeds in Devon (up to 100gb) free of charge. 4G - O2 and Vodafone have great coverage.

Kitchen

All cottages are fully equipped high spec kitchens. The Great Barn has a rang cooker, large fridge freezer, 2 dishwashers. Further kitchen downstairs.

Dining Room

The Great Barn dining area can accommodate up to 37 people. The arrangement can be modified for your group. All cottages have dining areas,

Sitting Room

Large lounge areas with a range of comfy sofas, some with views of South Devon and Dartmoor.

TV and Music Facilities

Ultra High definition LED smart TVs with Freesat. Can be connected to Netfix. Amazon's Alexa.

Games Room

The Haven - table tennis, junior pool table & oversized Connect 4. Can easily be cleared for group activities or meetings with integrated AV system.

Heating and Open Fires

Centrally heated by radiators with individual thermostatic valves in each room.

Bedrooms

The Great Barn: 1 double, 1 king (fully accessible), 5 twin, 1 triple, 1 superking/zip & link and sgle, and 1 superking/zip & link and 3 sgles).

Linen

High quality white hotel bed linen supplied. Fluffy towels provided. We do ask if you could bring your own cot linen.

Bathrooms

The Great Barn - 10 ensuites, including an accessible wet room. Loft - 3 bathrooms, Parlour and Sett - 2 bathrooms, Roost and Stable - 1 bathroom.

Children's Facilities

Children most welcome. The Haven (games room). Meet our miniature donkeys. Cots and high chairs are available on request.

Outdoor

There is a barbecue area, guest lawn and courtyard with seating areas and picnic tables.

Swimming Pool

There are indoor and outdoor pools in Ivybridge.

Parking

The Great Barn - 8 spaces. Two or one spaces for other cottages, depending on occupancy. We do encourage sharing cars where possible.

Smoking

No smoking in or around the cottages.

Fri and Mon changeover days. £200 cash or credit card security deposit on arrival. Please call Michael or Nicola to discuss your needs. Open all year. Weekends low season from £2199 (10 bedrooms/up to 24 people). Very cost effective rates per person for 5*.

Exclusive and accessible location on Dartmoor, South Devon. Walking and Cycle routes from your cottage. A short drive to great beaches Close to several National Trust properties.

Plymouth "Ocean City" 20 mins by car - offering theatre, cinema and a wide selection restaurants. There are also many historic and visitor attractions. Many sporting activities for you to try.
Ivybridge (2m) has wide selection of shops. You can order local meat (Gribbles Butchers). Supermarkets will deliver.
The Horse & Groom in Bittaford - walkable. Meals can be prepared for you by a trained chef at www.dartmoorlarder.co.uk. Riverford Field Kitchen and Michelin outlets close.
Bristol is only 90 mins and Exeter Airport within 40 minutes of Blackadon. You can arrange to hire cars from either. Heathrow is a 3hr drive.
Ivybridge station is less than 2 miles away. Direct trains from London. We can arrange pick up and drop off. Totnes and Plymouth are also close by.
We are on the main route between Plymouth and Paignton/Torbay. Please ask for details. Only an 800m walk to the bus stops. Also easy to get the bus to Totnes and cruise to Dartmouth/Kingswear.
