Ground floor Dalby Cottage is perfect for group members who prefer to avoid stairs, and the choice of accommodation is particularly suitable for a group of mixed ages, allowing anyone preferring their own space to enjoy extra privacy while still being part of the main event. All the cottages have an enclosed garden, secure for young children or family pets. A decked area has an outside dining space for warmer days, and a private hot tub for relaxing after a day out on the moors. Kitchens are well equipped for group cooking and open plan design promises sociable dinners. Lounges are cosy spaces with sofas, wood burners and a Smart TV, somewhere to unwind in comfort. Bedrooms are a convenient mix of doubles, twins or bunks, with colourful decoration and tasteful soft furnishings. All have a Smart TV and there are 5 en suites across the 4 cottages. There are direct public footpaths from the cottages to the market town of Pickering and the pretty village of Thornton-le-Dale. Local beaches include Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough for a family day out on the sands. York is a fabulous city around 40 minutes away, brimming with things to do and historic attractions including the cathedral and the National Railway Museum. Walkers and cyclists will also love the close proximity to great hikes and trails nearby and across the National Park.
