The bespoke kitchen has an enormous food prep island, and a long sociable dining table for dinners and celebrations. Retire to the TV lounge for a family movie or the drawing room for coffee. The games room is made for family fun with a pool table, games console and TV for the youngsters, a separate space to relax. Crackling open fires in the drawing room and TV lounge make this a fantastic choice all year round. The outside experience at The Country House Cumbria won't disappoint. Be wowed by the spectacular copper hot tub in front of the house and a firepit to gather around. The Orangery leads from the drawing room and games room to a private garden, a special corner for a cocktail. 3 acres of gardens and grounds await, with plenty of seating. All gorgeous elegant rooms, individually decorated, with period windows and amazing views. All have luxury en suite facilities. The hire includes daily housekeeping and turn down service by the housekeeper. Please note that there is Strict Noise Policy in place. The local historical World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall is a short drive away, with the fells, rivers and waterfalls of the North Pennines or the beauty of the Solway coast under an hour away.
