The house is only a 5 minute walk from a secluded beach, where you can swim in the turquoise water, stretch out in the sun or simply find a quiet spot to read and listen to the sea. From here, you can also walk to Palmizana for an evening meal at one of the seaport restaurants, to sample the local produce and experience the relaxed way of life of this glorious island. Inside, the house has an open plan feel, with a generous living room, kitchen and dining area that naturally bring everyone together. There are 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests, and 4 bathrooms, with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 upstairs. The upstairs beds can be arranged as singles, making the space flexible for friends travelling together too. Upstairs, a separate sitting room offers a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee or a cold beer, with spectacular views stretching across the islands and as far as Split on a clear day. Outside is where island life really comes into its own. The large garden is home to hammocks, deckchairs and a dining table, creating plenty of space for lazy breakfasts, afternoon naps and evenings under the stars. Fig and olive trees, herbs and native plants surround the house, wonderfully fragrant and quietly immersing any visitor in nature. The house is powered by solar energy and supplied by its own water tank. There is WiFi if you need it, but this is a place where we encourage you to put the phone down and reconnect with the world around you. Wake to birdsong and sea views, watch the sunset turn the sky golden and look up at a night sky filled with stars. This is a pet friendly home and your own dog and cat can come too.
