Its 5 bedrooms (3 king, 1 double and 1 twin) sleep up to 10 people, with 3 bathrooms so there’s never a queue for the shower.
The main reception room has dual aspect views, comfortable sofas, and a cosy log burner. There’s also a separate snug under the stairs, with more seating and a range of books, perfect for book-loving guests. The well-equipped kitchen has a handy serving hatch into the dining room, which also enjoys panoramic views of the garden and Stroud Valley. Please note that entrance to the house is on the middle floor with all social spaces at ground floor level.
Outside, the huge terraced garden to the rear of the house has seating and a BBQ, lawns, a summer house/office with a desk for peace and privacy if you need to work, and more delightful scenery.
Tucked away in the sleepy Cotswold village of Ruscombe, The Dormers is delightfully rural yet conveniently only a few miles from the M5, making it easy to reach favourite attractions. It's also a place where you can let the kids go free-range, building dens and playing in the woodland a few minutes from the house.
The scenic walk to Stroud takes around half an hour, or pack a picnic and walk the 3 hours to Haresfield Beacon for far-reaching views over the River Severn into Wales.
