The Elms has been sympathetically styled to retain its traditional charm while introducing modern day comforts, bringing together the old and new. This lovely holiday house near Tiverton is now a great place to bring people together and create happy memories.

'The heart' of The Elms has to be the large open plan kitchen/dining room - a large light and airy space extending across the house. It's the ideal place for everyone to gather, cook and enjoy a meal together. Or why not use a local fine dining company to cook your dinner while you relax. The lounge has comfortable seating a wood burning stove, cosy in winter.

This impressive house has the added bonus of a cellar which has been turned into a games room. Together you can enjoy a friendly game of pool, table football or table tennis. Or relax and unwind in our 6 person hot tub. New for 2024 is our lovely orchard, where guests can play outdoor games.

Two master bedrooms have private en suite facilities and underfloor heating, each with charming traditional decorative fireplaces. These front facing rooms overlook the countryside. Three out of four bedrooms have zip link beds - flexible for multi-generational groups and mixed bookings, they can be made up as either superking or twin depending on your group dynamics. One room also has bunk beds.

There are a further two family bathrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, and the second conveniently placed between two bedrooms, each comprising separate bath and shower and with heated towel rails.

There is ample parking available for all our guests staying at The Elms.

The historic charter town of Bampton is just 2 miles away and provides a few lovely independent shops, cafes and pubs. Lovely country walks are all around, and Exmoor is only a short drive away for outdoor adventures. The north Devon coast has many lovely beaches and fishing villages to explore, and there are lots of family attractions for a day out.
