Private kitchenettes and composting loos, and shared shower facilities. The Forge is a purpose built rural venue designed for corporate retreats, strategy days, personal retreats and team wellbeing programmes. Located within wildflower meadows and woodland, the site offers both indoor and outdoor facilities that support focused work alongside restorative activities. The site is particular popular for corporate mid week bookings. The big cabin provides an indoor meeting and workshop space with solar powered AV equipment suitable for presentations, strategy sessions and group discussions. The space can be arranged for up to 30 delegates and includes a catering kitchen with gas hobs, pizza ovens, a Green Egg barbecue and equipment for up to 18 diners. Teams can self cater, bring in their own chef or use the services of a chef arranged by the owners. A covered outdoor structure accommodates up to 16 yoga mats and can also be used for breakout sessions or informal meetings. The site also offers a sauna, natural swimming pool, 4 acres of wildflower meadow and 5 acres of woodland for guided forest bathing, walks and foraging. An Iron Age hill fort with fire circle and seating provides a setting for facilitated discussions and evening gatherings. Wellbeing activities can be integrated into your programme, including yoga, sound baths and massage treatments delivered in the on-site treatment space. Bushcraft sessions, archery and axe throwing are available as additional team activities. The venue is available for exclusive hire and can accommodate overnight stays, with options for single night bookings. The focus is on providing flexible meeting space, catering facilities and structured activities that support connection, reflection and effective team development in a natural setting.
