## About The Property

One of the most striking buildings in Ilfracombe, The Habit is a large seafront holiday house sleeping up to 19. Originally known as the Crescent House Hotel, it has been converted to a house perfect for family get togethers and special occasion weekends by the sea. The house retains many original features in addition to its handsome façade.

Set in the heart of Ilfracombe, The Habit is just a few minutes walk from many attractions, including  the seafront and harbour with Damien Hirst's 20m bronze sculpture of Verity, and local amenities including theatre, cinema, pubs and fine dining restaurants. The Tunnel Beaches wedding venue is close by, making this a handy place to stay for wedding guests.

Our manager lives close by and is on hand during your stay to help with anything you need. Our caterer can offer full 3 course meals, buffet style banquets and BBQs or pizza parties in the garden. Breakfast of bacon sandwiches and/or fruit platters can also be delivered.

The impressive hallway contains a sweeping staircase to the upper floors, and leads to the dining room where a table seats the whole group of 19 comfortably. An adjacent split-level conservatory gives easy access to the garden and parking area. There's also a lounge with snug area.

The large kitchen is off the dining room and has all the amenities you could possibly need for catering for a large group, as well as a table seating 12 for breakfast or informal meals together..

Upstairs, a very large games room has plenty of options to entertain all members of your group.

There are 8 en suite bedrooms spread over 3 floors, most with sea views and all with their own individual style. A mix of kings and single beds makes for maximum flexibility for a large group.

- **Accessibility:** As there are a lot of steps the property is unfortunately not suitable for disabled guests.
- **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved dogs accepted downstairs only.
- **Kitchen:** Large breakfast/kitchen with table seating 12. 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers, 6 burner range cooker, freezer, large saucepans, ovenware. Washer and dryer.
- **Dining Room:** Dining room to seat 19.
- **Sitting Room:** Lounge with snug area.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** TV in every bedroom. 65” TV in lounge and games room. Sound system outside to plug iPad into. 2 TVs with Xbox and Wii.
- **Games Room:** 50ft games room with table tennis, pool table, table football, TV, Xbox, Wii, climbing wall. Beanbags and comfy seating for chilling.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Full heating throughout the house with log fire and gas fire in the lounge.
- **Bedrooms:** 8 en suite bedrooms - 5 king, 1 twin, 1 triple and 1 quad. Each bedroom is unique in decor and most have sea views.
- **Linen:** All linen and towels provided but please bring your own beach towels.
- **Bathrooms:** All rooms are en suite - all have luxury rain showers and some also have claw foot baths.
- **Children's Facilities:** There are 2 high chairs and 1 travel cot. There are also games, books and DVDs plus the fully equipped games room.
- **Outdoor:** Lovely terrace and garden offering fantastic views over the sea. There is an outside kitchen, BBQ and pizza oven plus chairs and table.
- **Parking:** There is parking at the rear of the property for 4 cars. Additional parking can be found in a car park 200 yards away.
- **Smoking:** Smoking is not allowed inside the building or in the garden.
