The Linhay sleeps 10, with each of the 5 cottages sleeping 2, and The Hollow also has a sofa bed for an extra charge.

This gorgeous restoration project started life as a hayloft on the family arable farm and has since been turned into lovely luxury holiday cottages near Peterborough, situated around a central courtyard area. It's the sort of place favoured by 3 generational families, friends and couples who want to meet up for a holiday or to celebrate a big birthday or other event. The Linhay boasts a spacious events barn and for an extra cost it is possible to hire this for a special dining experience, a meeting or a small wedding.

Each of the 5 cottages is fully self contained with comfortable open plan living. The front of the cottages lead out onto a courtyard area where there are bistro tables to relax over a cup of coffee or a G&T. At The Linhay guests get the best of both worlds: a sociable experience staying with family or friends, while enjoying the peace and privacy of separate accommodation. Have a quiet breakfast for 2 before meeting up to plan the day ahead. Bedrooms are stylish, cosy rooms with original wall features, white bed linen and handy contemporary en suites.

The events barn is a fantastic space full of original character and charm. Gather there for corporate meetings or entertaining clients. Arrange a family bonding experience such as wine tasting, wreath making or yoga. And if the great outdoors and lots of fresh air are more your thing, Stoney Lands is a 25 acre field available for guests during their stay.

If stopping off in Peterborough for supplies, take a detour to visit the impressive historic cathedral. A trip to Cambridge is also in order, for amazing historic attractions, a happy university vibe and a punt on the River Cam. The historic market towns of Oundle, Stamford and Oakham are also within a 30 mile radius from The Linhay with a vast array of restaurants, pubs and shopping. For keen walkers you are spoilt for choice with The Great Fen Project, Grafham Water, Burghley Gardens, Ferry Meadows Country Park, Rutland Water, Barnwell Country Park, and why not even take a trip to the Norfolk coast for a day by the sea.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Dogs are only allowed in The Nide. They must be kept off furniture and on a lead at all times.
- **WiFi:** Available throughout.
- **Dining Room:** Inside dining for 2 in each cottage, except The Hollow which has for 4. The Barn can be hired separately for a communal or special celebration.
- **Kitchen:** Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen.
- **Sitting Room:** All cottages have comfy seating and a TV in lounges.
- **Outdoor:** Patio in front of each property, as well as use of 25-acre field. The Nide has its own private enclosed garden. Events barn available to hire.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Wall mounted TV in each of the 5 cottages.
- **Bedrooms:** 5 bedrooms, each for 2 guests. All en suite.
- **Bathrooms:** En suite contemporary bathrooms in each of the 5 cottages.
- **Children's Facilities:** Child friendly but there is little room for cots in 4 properties. Guests can bring their own cot for The Hollow.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Under floor heating throughout all of the properties. The Hollow also has radiator heating for upstairs. Heated towel rails also in every bathroom.
- **Linen:** Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
- **Parking:** Parking for 1 car at the front of each cottage, except The Hollow which has 2 spaces available. Over-spill car park available to use on request.
- **Smoking:** No smoking please.

## Booking Information

- Limited space for cots at 4 properties but guests can bring cots to The Hollow. The Hollow has a sofa bed that is charged at £25 per stay. Dogs are only permitted in The Nide. No smoking, vaping or candles inside any of the properties. Check in from 3pm, check out by 10am. Please note The Linhay is situated on a working arable farm and farm vehicles and machinery will be in use near the property.
