Spacious family holiday house near Hebden Bridge sleeping 15 with a hot tub, for family get togethers and girls weekends
Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. The Long View Yorkshire, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, sleeps 6 - 15 in 7 bedrooms.
A beautiful character farmhouse near Hebden Bridge, the Long View Yorkshire perches in extensive grounds overlooking woods, valleys and a sweep of Yorkshire moors. Perfect for relaxing and rekindling family ties, or celebrating with friends, this beautiful holiday house sleeping 15 sits behind stone mullion windows, with one of the finest views in Yorkshire. Enjoy the fresh air and wild beauty of God's Own Country.
The hub of the house is a big kitchen with AGA, deep Chesterfield sofa, smart TV, and an elegant dining table seating 15. There's a separate food preparation area off here (perfect to store all your goodies or as a prep area for caterers).
The sitting room has a wood burner, comfortable sofas, and another big smart TV - perfect for catching movies by firelight. Let children discover the games room, with pool table and table tennis - also suitable for yoga (local practitioners can visit). Another sitting room is perfect as a breakout space or for curling up with a book, with a cupboard of board games, and toys for younger children.
There's a downstairs bedroom for anyone less mobile (with a couple of steps down), a superking or twin, with a sofa bed that turns this beautiful stone-flagged room into a triple, with a luxury en suite shower room. 6 bedrooms upstairs are a mix of superkings, bunks, kings and a twin - some en suite, with a large family bathroom with roll-top bath and shower.
At night, drink fizz in the hot tub in the walled garden, watching shooting stars, or enjoy a barbie on the terrace.
The Long View is so playful and peaceful, you don't need to venture out, though it's a shame not to; the shops, restaurants and galleries of renowned Hebden Bridge are 3 miles away - a short drive, or lovely daytime walk through woods. Wonderful footpaths and biking tracks go from the door, with the Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way and National Trust woodland nearby.
Sarah is able to supply contacts for private chefs, caterers, yoga, relaxation or cacao sessions in house.
Day trips include Hebden Bridge, Haworth (home of the Bronte sisters), the Worth Valley Steam railway, the medieval village of Heptonstall, Halifax with its incredible Piece Hall and Eureka – The National Children’s Museum), Bolton Abbey and Skipton in the southern part of the Yorkshire Dales.
