Designed to host between 10 and 20 or more guests, the Lodge offers generous indoor and outdoor living spaces that make it easy to come together while still enjoying privacy. Surrounded by open countryside, the setting is peaceful and elevated, with magnificent rural views that create a memorable backdrop for any occasion. The Lodge sits on 25 acres of private farmland giving the air of a country station. Purpose built to accommodate ski teams (with central heating for a cosy environment in winter months), there are plenty of outdoor spaces for recreation and training. Located approximately 12 minutes from central Wanaka and about 25 minutes from the start of the Cardrona access road, this is a convenient base for both town and mountain access. The Lookout is also a romantic choice for an intimate wedding, with a special package available which includes a 2 night stay for up to 16 and all aspects of your ceremony and celebration. The Cabin is the perfect private retreat for the wedding couple, and a range of extras including activities can be incorporated into your special time with family and friends. The Lookout sleeps 22  guests in 7 bedrooms Kanuka Cabin sleeps 2, with a hot tub, and is available by separate hire for additional guests Upstairs at The Lookout are 6 spacious bedrooms, including 4 family rooms with a king bed and single bed, and 2 bunk rooms with 2 sets of bunks in each. Bathroom facilities are shared. Downstairs is a further bedroom with a private bathroom. The professional kitchen is ideal for self catering or for use by professional caterers and includes a walk-in chiller and large pantry. Oversized dining tables seat up to 14 people each, complemented by comfortable lounge seating. Folding chairs and trestle tables are available for larger gatherings. Nearby activities range from golf, cycling and hiking to lake activities and local wine tastings.
