Sleeping up to 10 in four bedrooms and a ground-floor snug with a double sofa bed, it makes a memorable base for a family gathering or a relaxed break by the water. Hen and stag parties are not permitted on the estate. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room looks out onto the lake through wide bi-fold doors. There is a generous island for morning coffee, a wine cooler and a dining table with seating for up to 12. Afterwards, settle by the log burner or head into the snug for an Xbox game, a film or some quiet work at the desk. Upstairs, two principal bedrooms with en suite showers and private balconies, a double room, a bunk room, and a family bathroom with a freestanding bath. The rooftop terrace is a real draw: an outdoor kitchen and gas barbecue, bar stools, a pool table, lounge seating and a hot tub, with lake views stretching beyond the garden. Access is via stairs and an opening roof window, so it will not suit everyone. At ground level, the unfenced lawn runs down to the water and a private jetty; children must be supervised.
