The Old Barn is located on the stunning Coulscott Estate, close to the beautiful North Devon coast with easy access to seaside highlights including Woolacombe (named Britain's best beach recently by the Sunday Times), Ilfracombe and also Exmoor National Park. This converted barn offers character features including triple-height vaulted wood ceilings and exposed stone walls, side by side with modern open plan design and a fantastic deck for outdoor living - a special retreat in the heart of North Devon's national landscape. The galleried mezzanine opens out onto the deck, the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco meals, or to relax on loungers or in the hot tub bubbles. The well equipped kitchen is designed for cooking together, and gathering at the large sociable table to catch up and enjoy good food and wine with family and friends. The drawing room has cosy sofas and a wood burner for chilly evenings. For some quiet time head to a window seat in the sun room, or curl up with a good book in the library snug. Plenty of room to spread out for a mixed group. On site facilities include a shared indoor pool and a games room with table tennis and table football plus a soft play area for the younger ones. There is lots of outside space and lawns for the children and dogs to run around safely too. The ground floor super king en suite is a handy choice for anyone for whom stairs are tricky. The 1st floor rooms both have balcony access, quiet corners for morning coffee. On the third floor, there are two twin bedrooms. One of these rooms is accessed via the master bedroom, with the option to book an extra single bed, suitable for any young families. The nearest beach is Combe Martin, a delightful spot for lunch at the pub and great fish and chips. Enjoy the sandy beach once the tide is out and explore fantastic rock pools.
